Customizing the automatic notification (actions emails) sent from the app

You can create your own email template for sending your desired message to the customers by editing the emails in the appearance tab separately for pickups and deliveries.

In this below example, we will edit the out for delivery email.

Step 1:- Go to the Pickeasy's appearance tab.

Step 2:- Scroll down to find the "Email Template" section. Select "Custom" in in the "Out for Delivery Email template" option to enter the desired text.

Step 3:- Enter the email subject

Step 4:- Enter the body

Note: To include the various information in the email, use the corresponding variables as shown below.

  • Order Number- @ordernumber
  • Customer Name- @customername
  • Store Name- @storename
  • Order Due date- @orderduedate
  • Order Due time- @orderduetime
  • Translate order due date- @translatedorderduedate
  • Translate order due time- @translatedorderduetime
  • Shipping address- @shippingaddress

BODY For example,

Hi @customername.


Your order @ordernumber is out for delivery.


You will get your order on @orderduedate around @orderduetime at


@shippingaddress.

The email will be delivered as shown below once you mark the order as "Ready for Delivery" in Shopify orders page.

Similarly, you can draft your email template for "Pickup" as well.

Note: The variables for Pickup are,

  • Order Number- @ordernumber
  • Customer Name- @customername
  • Store Name- @storename
  • Order Due date- @orderduedate
  • Order Due time- @orderduetime
  • Translate order due date- @translatedorderduedate
  • Translate order due time- @translatedorderduetime
  • Pickup Location name- @pickuplocationname
  • Pickup Location address- @pickuplocationaddress
